Oven and kitchen cleaning on the Central Coast
Updated October 2026
Ask any property manager where a final inspection fails and they will say the same thing: the kitchen, and the oven first. If you need oven and kitchen cleaning on the Central Coast, on its own or as part of a full bond clean, tell us what you need and an insured local cleaner will call you back with a price.
Why the oven decides inspections
The oven is the first thing agents photograph because it is the clearest evidence of how a property was kept. Baked-on carbon on the door glass, greasy racks and a rangehood filter heavy with fat are the classic flags. It is also the job tenants most often underestimate: an hour with a supermarket spray rarely shifts carbon that has been baking on for a year. The cleaners we work with treat the oven as its own job inside the kitchen, with the right degreasers, dwell time and elbow grease, because it is the item most likely to be flagged on the agent's exit checklist.
What a kitchen clean covers
A proper end of lease kitchen clean typically includes:
- Oven: door glass inside and out, racks and trays soaked and scrubbed, interior walls and roof, hinges and seals wiped
- Stovetop: burners, trivets, drip trays, control knobs and the surface itself
- Rangehood: filters degreased or soaked, canopy wiped inside and out
- Cupboards and drawers: inside and out, crumbs out, handles wiped, tops of cupboards dusted
- Benchtops and splashback degreased
- Sink and taps descaled and polished, drain cleared of debris
- Dishwasher: filter cleaned, seals wiped, exterior polished
- Fridge cavity cleaned behind and beneath, where the fridge has been moved out
If you want the whole property done, this is included in a full end of lease clean. Plenty of people also book the kitchen alone, when the rest of the house is manageable but the oven is beyond a DIY fix.
What it costs
As a guide only, a standalone professional oven clean typically runs around $80 to $180 depending on the oven's size and condition, and a full kitchen deep clean sits higher depending on how much grease has built up. Bundled into a full bond clean the kitchen is part of the overall price, which our bond cleaning cost guide breaks down by property size. The cleaner who calls will give you a firm price before any work starts.
Rental kitchens, the honest version
Under NSW tenancy law you must leave the property reasonably clean, allowing for fair wear and tear. Scratches on an old benchtop are likely to be treated as wear and tear, a greasy rangehood less so. No cleaner can promise your bond back, but a kitchen done to the agent's checklist gives you the best chance of keeping the most-photographed room out of the argument. Some cleaners offer a re-clean of items the agent flags, so ask about this when they call.
The cleaners cover the whole region, including Gosford, East Gosford, Wyoming, Narara and Erina. Inspection this week? See the last minute bond clean page.
Frequently asked questions
Can every oven come up like new?
Most come up very well, but not all. Permanent etching on door glass, worn enamel and rusted racks will not disappear, and that is fair wear and tear rather than dirt. A good cleaner will tell you upfront what will and will not come back.
Is the oven included in a full bond clean?
Yes. The oven, stovetop and rangehood are standard items on any genuine end of lease clean. If a cheap quote excludes the oven, that is a sign the quote is not really an end of lease clean. Our cost guide explains how to spot that.
Do the cleaners move the fridge and dishwasher?
Where appliances are yours and already moved out, the cavities get cleaned as standard. Confirm with the cleaner about moving heavy appliances that are staying, as it depends on access and safety.
How long does an oven clean take?
Usually one to two hours for the oven alone, longer for heavy carbon build-up, since racks often need soaking while the rest of the kitchen is done.
