Wamberal runs north from Terrigal along a long surf beach, with a lagoon behind it and a mix of beachfront houses, older cottages and newer homes on the streets inland. Holiday letting is common here and long term rentals sit alongside it.
Beachfront exposure is as strong as anywhere on the Coast. Salt coats windows, screens, balustrades and outdoor furniture, and sand comes through every door. Beach houses often have large glazed areas facing the ocean, which means more glass, more tracks and more screens. Properties coming out of holiday use usually need extra time in the kitchen.
What the clean covers
The scope follows standard agent checklists rather than a promise about your bond:
- Oven, cooktop and rangehood degreased
- Cupboards, drawers and bench tops cleaned
- Bathrooms descaled, screens and grout scrubbed
- Large windows, sliding doors, tracks and screens, salt and sand cleared
- Decks and entries swept, glass balustrades cleaned where reachable
- Walls spot cleaned, skirting boards and light fittings
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Pricing depends on size and condition. Three and four bedroom beach houses sit in the upper part of the range, smaller cottages lower. Treat any figure as guide pricing only and see our bond cleaning cost guide for typical ranges.
Add carpet steam cleaning for carpeted bedrooms, a deeper bathroom and tile clean if the grout needs it, or a move in clean on the place you are heading to. See end of lease cleaning for the base scope and last minute bond cleans if time is short.
We also cover nearby Terrigal, Tumbi Umbi and Erina.
Frequently asked questions
Does a beachfront house take longer than an inland one?
Usually, because of the glass and the salt. The window and track scope scales with the amount of glazing rather than the bedroom count.
Can outdoor furniture and the deck be included?
Decks and entries are swept as standard. Washing furniture or pressure cleaning is quoted separately, so say what you want covered.
Can the cleaner guarantee my bond?
No one can. Your agent and landlord decide against the condition report. The cleaners we work with clean to the agent's checklist, which is the standard the inspection uses.
