Saratoga occupies a peninsula into Brisbane Water, a quiet waterside suburb of brick homes, cottages and a few newer builds with the water at the end of most streets. Rentals are houses and tenants tend to stay.
Water on three sides means damp and salt. Bathrooms with weak ventilation grow surface mould, shaded paths and paving hold moss, and windows and screens carry a salt film that needs washing rather than wiping. Many houses here have large windows facing the water, which adds glass, tracks and screens to the job.
What the clean covers
The scope follows standard agent checklists rather than a promise about your bond:
- Oven, cooktop and rangehood degreased
- Cupboards and drawers inside and out
- Bathrooms descaled, surface mould treated, screens scrubbed
- Large windows, sliding doors, tracks and screens
- Decks and entries swept, cobwebs cleared where reachable
- Walls spot cleaned, skirting boards and light fittings
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Prices move with property size and condition. Three bedroom waterside houses are the normal job, and a lot of glass adds more time than people expect. Treat any figure as guide pricing only and see our bond cleaning cost guide for typical ranges.
Common add-ons here are carpet steam cleaning and window cleaning where salt and grit have built up on glass and tracks. Moving into a new place as well? A move in clean covers that side. The standard scope is set out on our end of lease cleaning page.
We also cover nearby Davistown, Green Point and Kincumber.
Frequently asked questions
The house has a lot of glass facing the water. Does that cost more?
It can. Window and track work scales with the amount of glass rather than the bedroom count, so mention large windows and sliding doors when you request a quote.
Will the salt film come off the screens?
Usually yes, with washing rather than dry wiping. Screens that come out easily are washed, and fixed screens are brushed and rinsed in place.
Does a bond clean guarantee I get my bond back?
No cleaner can promise that, and you should be wary of any who do. The bond also covers damage and unpaid rent. The cleans follow standard agent checklists, which is what your property manager inspects against.
