Booker Bay sits on the quiet waterfront between Ettalong and the channel, a small suburb of waterfront homes, older cottages and a few apartment blocks facing the bay. It is a settled pocket with limited rental stock.
Waterfront exposure brings salt film to glass, screens and balustrades, and damp to bathrooms and shaded paving. Many homes here face the water with large windows and sliding doors, which adds glass and track work to the job. Older cottages carry original kitchens and bathrooms where the oven and grout take the longest.
What a Booker Bay bond clean covers
The scope follows standard agent checklists rather than a promise about your bond:
- Oven, cooktop and rangehood degreased
- Cupboards and drawers inside and out
- Bathrooms descaled, surface mould treated, screens scrubbed
- Large windows, sliding doors, tracks and screens, salt film removed
- Decks, balconies and entries swept, glass cleaned where reachable
- Walls spot cleaned, skirting boards and light fittings
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Quotes are built on size and condition rather than a flat rate. Two and three bedroom homes are the normal job, and extensive glass adds time beyond the bedroom count. Treat any figure as guide pricing only and see our bond cleaning cost guide for typical ranges.
You can add carpet steam cleaning if your lease asks for it, a dedicated bathroom and tile clean where the grout has worked hard, or window cleaning on its own. The base scope sits on our end of lease cleaning page, and short-notice jobs are covered on the last minute bond clean page.
We also cover nearby Ettalong Beach, Umina Beach and Empire Bay.
Frequently asked questions
Will the water facing glass come up clear?
Usually yes. Salt residue washes off well. Glass etched over years of spray and hard water will improve without coming back to new, and an honest cleaner says so.
Can the cleaners work around limited street parking?
Yes. Mention it when booking so loading and unloading time is allowed for.
Will the clean guarantee my bond is returned?
No. The bond covers damage and rent as well as cleaning, so no honest cleaner promises it back. A checklist clean gives you the best chance of keeping cleaning out of the argument.
