Davistown is a small waterfront village on Cockle Broadwater, with a boat ramp, a tight street grid and a mix of older fibro cottages, brick homes and a few renovated waterfront houses. Some properties here have spent time as holiday lets.
Older cottages near the water bring two problems together: hard worked kitchens and bathrooms inside, and damp and salt outside. Only in what it leaves behind. Short stay use often means a worn kitchen and bathroom, which is more time rather than a different checklist. Your inspection is still against your own entry condition report.
Can the cleaners reach a narrow waterfront street?
Yes, it just helps to know. Mention tight access or limited parking when booking so loading time is planned in.
Will the clean guarantee my bond is returned?
No. The bond covers damage and rent as well as cleaning, so no honest cleaner promises it back. A checklist clean gives you the best chance of keeping cleaning out of the argument.
